About Me
HILARY MOMBERGER POWERS
Upon finding sobriety in 1983 Hilary Momberger Powers, has been a mentor, writer and public speaker in recovery for over forty years.
She studied with John Bradshaw, a preeminent figure in the field of recovery and dysfunctional families and also worked in the early 90’s as the program manager for the first sober living house for women alcoholics in the United States. This program, which later came to be known as Promises, was instrumental in establishing after care for the recovering alcoholic.
Most people are unaware that Hilary was a well-known commerical actress and child actress, voicing the character of Sally in many of the Charlie Brown cartoons, and working with Charles Schulz and Bill Mendelson.

Hilary Momberger was a child star. Her first interview landed her the iconic role of Charlie Brown’s sister, Sally Brown. Hilary went on to voice Sally in seven Peanut’s Special. Childhood fame has a price. Hilary candidly discusses the pain of growing up as a childhood star while living within a dysfunctional home. Her self-destruction and her fall was as great as her ascent.
She shares her recovery from abuse and addiction and how God brought her back. Her journey has brought her full circle. She has mentored hundreds of woman and men for decades, a successful Script Supervisor and back to acting yet, with a new reason…for fun and to create.
