HILARY MOMBERGER POWERS
Upon finding sobriety in 1983 Hilary Momberger Powers, has been a mentor, writer and public speaker in recovery for over forty years.
She studied with John Bradshaw, a preeminent figure in the field of recovery and dysfunctional families and also worked in the early 90’s as the program manager for the first sober living house for women alcoholics in the United States. This program, which later came to be known as Promises, was instrumental in establishing after care for the recovering alcoholic.
Most people are unaware that Hilary was a well-known commerical actress and child actress, voicing the character of Sally in many of the Charlie Brown cartoons, and working with Charles Schulz and Bill Mendelson.
